What It Means to Navigate Your Career with Dignity
—
Even When It’s Difficult

This is what I want for my clients. This is what I respect in a client.

  • It scares me, but I will go through this with dignity.
  • It is hard to look for a job, but I will keep my head above the water with dignity.
  • I sometimes feel triggered because learning new stuff is hard, but I will approach this with dignity.
  • It is hard to be rejected in interviews, but I will continue to show up for the job I dream about, with dignity, with grace and self-respect.
  • I fear people will judge me for my career options, but I will advocate for myself with dignity.
  • I sometimes feel ashamed because of how hard I make progress, but I will learn from my setbacks with dignity, not blaming others or circumstances.
  • I will contribute everywhere I am with dignity, no matter the position I am in.
  • I have to stay in this job to provide for myself and my family, but I will learn how to do it with dignity.
  • I feel less and less valued at work because I am aging, but I will show up every day with dignity.
  • I feel left aside by my team because I am aging, but I will keep learning and contribute with dignity.

Doing your work with dignity.

Doing your work with dignity, being treated with dignity, facing challenges and changes with dignity, living with dignity, ageing with dignity.

This is my MAIN goal for supporting my clients.

Why?

  • Circumstances are always quite difficult, uncertainty is bitter and scary for everyone, change is very difficult and the result of a big change is always distant when you embark on a new path.
  • All relevant career changes – glorious or invisible to most eyes – require a transformation.
  • A profound change from the inside out – for which anyone becoming my client needs to be aware of and open to work for.

The silent partner in every single step we take in life and in our careers: DIGNITY.

No one has it easy. I hadn’t either. But I would like to think I showed up with dignity as much as I could, every time, no matter how hard it was or how low I felt.

„What are you going to do with all that dark? Find a way to glow in it.”
